Once an employee has requested an advance, they will be paid into their bank account within 1 business day.

No. SmartWage give employees access to the pay that they have earned in their current pay cycle. It is not a loan, it is just access to their own money, before payday.

No. The money will only be paid into the bank account their employer pays your monthly salary into.

An employee can Whatsapp the SmartWage Advance line from the number they’re changing to and it will ask them to confirm their ID number and bank account details. Once you have done so, their number will change automatically. 

We charge a service fee per transaction. This fee is a base fee of R5 plus 2.95% of your transaction amount. 

Requests made after 11:30am on a Friday, and any requests made on the weekend will only be paid on Monday. 

All requests made on a public holiday will only be paid the next working day.
